Hon. Ikeagwuonu Ugochinyere, the lawmaker representing Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituency in Imo State, has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu, accusing him of inviting anarchy through the deregistration of opposition political parties.
Ugochinyere made the remarks on Monday while reacting to a Federal High Court judgment in Abuja that ordered the de-registration of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Action Peoples Party (APP), and three other political parties.
The outspoken lawmaker described the ruling as a dangerous move that could plunge Nigeria into political instability similar to turbulent periods in the country’s history and other parts of Africa.

He further called on the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to protect the integrity of the judiciary, warning that failure to address public concerns could erode confidence in the justice system.
