French club Olympique Marseille have emerged as frontrunners to sign Super Eagles striker Akor Adams, with Sevilla placing a €30m price tag on the Nigerian forward as interest in him intensifies ahead of the summer transfer window, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The price tag was communicated by Seville-based Spanish publication OrgulloBiri and the fee would represent a remarkable return on the €5.5m Sevilla paid Montpellier to sign Adams in January 2025, with the 26-year-old having established himself as one of the Andalusian club’s most important players after an initially slow start to life in Spain.
Adams finished the season as Sevilla’s top scorer in La Liga with 10 goals, two of which came in the final four matches of the campaign and proved decisive in helping the club secure the points needed to avoid relegation.
