Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has defended President Bola Tinubu’s handling of Nigeria’s security challenges, stressing that the president never pledged to perform “magic” in solving the crisis.
Speaking on the Mic On Podcast, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain argued that insecurity did not begin under Tinubu’s administration and urged critics to acknowledge ongoing efforts.

He highlighted the sacrifices of military officers who have lost their lives defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity, particularly in the Northeast, insisting their efforts should not be dismissed.
Nigeria has recently witnessed a surge in violent incidents. In Oyo State, students and teachers were kidnapped, while retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, a former Army spokesman, was abducted in Katsina and later died in captivity.
