
Nigerian startup FromAfricaB2B is a digital B2B sourcing and trade platform designed to connect African manufacturers directly with buyers, distributors, retailers and sourcing professionals around the world.
Founded in 2025 by Nigerian-born entrepreneur Ukpabio Juliet Archibong, FromAfricaB2B enables “made-in-Africa” manufacturers to showcase their products, production capabilities, certifications and export readiness, while allowing buyers to discover verified suppliers across multiple sectors including food and beverage, cosmetics, beauty, textiles, fashion, wellness, home products and consumer goods.
“Our mission is to increase visibility for African manufacturing and make it easier for global buyers to source directly from the continent,” Archibong said.
The idea emerged from a personal experience of feeling limited by passport restrictions and recognising that one of Africa’s greatest opportunities lies in building stronger economic relationships through trade rather than migration.
“While there are many global sourcing platforms, African manufacturers often remain underrepresented, difficult to discover, or grouped within broader international marketplaces where they struggle to gain visibility,” Archibong said.
“We identified a need for a dedicated platform focused specifically on African manufacturing, helping buyers discover suppliers by country, product category and manufacturing capability.
The competition includes large global sourcing platforms such as Alibaba Group and other international sourcing directories. However, FromAfricaB2B differentiates itself by focusing exclusively on African manufacturing and trade opportunities.”
Currently founder-funded, has onboarded manufacturers across multiple African countries, secured early partnerships and engagement with trade-focused organisations, and grown visibility among manufacturers seeking export opportunities. It also has initial international buyer interest from outside Africa.
