Lionel Messi and his family have released a statement regarding the health of his father, Jorge Messi, amid speculations during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The family confirmed that Jorge Messi is currently dealing with a health-related issue but said he is recovering under medical supervision.
“At this time, he is under medical supervision, recovering and progressing favourably within the condition he is experiencing,” the statement said.
