A prominent labour leader, Comrade Andrew Emelieze, National Coordinator of the All Workers Convergence (AWC), has sharply criticised President Bola Tinubu, urging him to stop acting like an emperor and remember that he is only a temporary tenant in Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
In a strongly worded statement issued on Sunday, June 21, 2026, Emelieze accused the Tinubu administration of presiding over severe economic hardship, worsening insecurity, and policies that are harmful to the majority of Nigerians.
The labour leader highlighted persistent challenges including kidnapping, banditry, and other violent crimes, which he said have made life unbearable for citizens.
He claimed that the administration’s programmes and policies are compounding the daily struggles of ordinary Nigerians.
