NES partners Ogun to train public servants on policy, planning

The Ogun State chapter of the Nigerian Economic Society has proposed a partnership with the state government to strengthen data-driven governance, policy implementation, and accountability through capacity-building initiatives for public servants.

NES, according to a statement made available to our Correspondent on Tuesday, said that the partnership could be in the form of a capacity-building programme for planning officers, statisticians and data analysts across the state’s Ministries, Departments and Agencies as part of efforts to strengthen good governance in the state

The society said the collaboration would focus on training planning officers, statisticians and data analysts across Ministries, Departments and Agencies to improve governance and support evidence-based decision-making.
