The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, Warman Ogoriba, has said President Bola Tinubu remains focused on national development and deserves a second term in office despite criticisms from some quarters.
Ogoriba expressed confidence in Tinubu’s chances of re-election, insisting that his administration has performed credibly since assuming office.
Speaking in Yenagoa on Tuesday, he said criticism was a normal part of democratic governance and should not distract the government from delivering on its mandate.
He said, “We expect criticism in politics, and we welcome constructive criticism. We are not worried about calls for the President’s resignation. We are focused on development projects and ensuring that Nigerians continue to benefit from government policies. The same thing applies at the national level. We are doing very well.
