
The Anambra State First Lady, Nonye Soludo, has expressed delight over the steady recovery of a 10-year-old boy who was allegedly assaulted by his guardians, describing it as a testament to the dedication of the medical team and the outpouring of love, support and prayers from kind-hearted individuals.
The boy, identified as Chiziterem, whose video went viral on social media showing severe burns and injuries allegedly inflicted by his guardians in Awada, Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of the state, is currently receiving medical treatment under state protection.
Soludo, who paid a second visit to the boy at the hospital, expressed relief over the reassuring update from the medical team that his condition is stable.
While assessing the victim’s condition during the follow-up visit, the First Lady expressed satisfaction with his steady improvement and commended the medical team caring for him.
