The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kwara State, Bolakale Kawu, has formally received his Certificate of Return from the national leadership of the party ahead of the 2027 general election.
The certificate was presented to Kawu by the National Chairman of the PDP, Abdulrahman Muhammed, during a ceremony held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja and attended by party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.
The development was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by Kawu’s Head of Digital Communications and Media, Sa’adat Bibire, saying the presentation marked another step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 governorship contest in Kwara State.
Kawu described the issuance of the certificate as a symbol of the trust and confidence reposed in him by the PDP and its supporters across the state.
