
A 43-year-old non-teaching staff member of a public primary school in Ilorin, Amuda Olubukola, has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kwara State Command, for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old pupil.
PUNCH Online gathered that the suspect allegedly transformed his school office into a crime scene, subjecting the Primary 4 pupil to repeated sexual abuse until a resulting pregnancy exposed the illicit acts.
Confirming the development in a statement issued on Friday, the NSCDC spokesperson, Ayoola Micheal, disclosed that the operative’s Gender Unit swung into action immediately after receiving a formal complaint.
He said, “The arrest followed a complaint received by the Gender Unit of the Command, which triggered an immediate investigation into the disturbing allegation.”
Detailing how the suspect allegedly manipulated and silenced the minor, the CDPRO explained that tactical coercion and physical restraint were used during the assaults.
