
President Bola Tinubu has said his administration is prioritising infrastructure development because it forms the backbone of a modern economy and directly improves the lives of ordinary citizens.
Tinubu, who was represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, made the remark while commissioning Collector Roads 01 and 02 in the Mabushi District of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He described the Renewed Hope Agenda as more than a slogan.
According to the president, the agenda translates into tangible projects such as roads that bring ease and opportunities to Nigerians.
“When roads connect, businesses grow. When movement is easy, productivity rises. When travel is safe, citizens are free,” the President said.
Tinubu emphasised that improved interconnectivity through quality roads strengthens the FCT and creates channels for citizens to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
He further commended the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, for his focused leadership and impressive delivery.
