The immediate past Minister of Power, Mr Adebayo Adelabu, has declared that he has no intention of dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Allied People’s Movement (APM).
Adelabu made the declaration via a statement signed by his media aide, Comrade Femi Awogboro.
The statement was made available to DAILY POST on Friday evening in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
DAILY POST gathered that Adelabu was one of the gubernatorial aspirants who contested in the recently held APC governorship primary election in Oyo State.
Our correspondent reports that a rumour surfaced in the early hours of Friday claiming that the personal assistant to the former minister, Mr Ajiboye Akande, met with some APM members in a bid to facilitate the defection of both himself and his principal, Adelabu, to the party.
