Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, the newly elected President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), has raised issues around challenges faced by the association with electronic voting and the use of technology in elections.
The new NBA President, who was fielding questions from State House Journalists, on Tuesday, after meeting with President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, disclosed that her discussion with the President centred on the challenges faced by the association with electronic voting and the use of technology in elections.
She however didn’t provide further details.
The issue of electronic voting and use of technology was a major topic debated by members of the National Assembly before the passage of the Electoral Act, 2026.
