The Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said efforts are underway to strengthen the unity and preparedness of the newly formed party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a post on verified his X handle on Sunday, Kwankwaso disclosed that he paid a courtesy visit to the National Leader of the party, Seriake Dickson, at his residence in Abuja.
According to him, the meeting was part of ongoing consultations aimed at consolidating the party and positioning it for future electoral contests.
“Today, I paid a courtesy visit to the National Leader of our party, the NDC, His Excellency Seriake Dickson at his residence in Abuja.
“The engagement forms part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s unity, resilience, and strategic readiness as we prepare for the 2027 general elections,” he wrote.
