The Labour Party has urged governors and other political leaders across the country to emulate the leadership style of the Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Asogwa, made the call in its Independence Day message on Wednesday, while urging Nigerians not to lose hope despite the economic and security challenges confronting the country.
Asogwa said Otti, who was elected on the LP platform in 2023, had demonstrated what it described as credible leadership and provided Nigerians yearning for change with a reason to trust the party’s candidates in the 2027 elections.
