Former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye has claimed that President Bola Tinubu did not submit primary or secondary school certificates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a post on X, Melaye said: “See what Tinubu submitted to INEC, no primary, no secondary school, no Nigerian classmate. Wetin he use take go university for obodo oyingbo? Babanla scam.”
He questioned how Tinubu gained admission to a university abroad without those certificates.
Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, is expected to contest the 2027 elections.
He won the 2023 presidential poll against Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party. Similar questions about his academic credentials were raised during that campaign.
