The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State for the 2027 election, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, on Tuesday appointed politician and legal practitioner, Yemi Aderibigbe, as the Director-General of his campaign council.
The appointment was announced in a statement personally signed by Alli in Ibadan, the state capital.
According to Alli, Aderibigbe’s appointment was informed by his sterling reputation as a selfless political leader with a long-standing record of people-centred leadership and grassroots mobilisation.
The APC governorship candidate described Aderibigbe as a politician who has remained firmly connected to the grassroots since serving as Chairman of Akinyele Local Government Area, noting that his commitment to the welfare of ordinary people has remained unwavering.
