The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has approved key appointments into his campaign organisation to strengthen preparations for the 2027 gubernatorial election.
The appointments followed the earlier appointment of Chief Yemi Aderibigbe as the Director-General of the Campaign Organisation, reflecting the candidate’s commitment to an inclusive and result-oriented campaign structure.
Alli, who is the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, announced this in a statement issued in Ibadan, the state capital, on Thursday.
The statement said, “Under the new arrangement, Hon Sola Ogunbode was appointed Deputy Director-General to support the Director-General in coordinating campaign activities across the state.
“Also appointed as Assistant Directors-General are Barrister Lowo Obisesan for Oyo South, Rt Hon Asimiyu Alarape for Oyo Central and Hon Rasaq Raji for Oyo North Senatorial District.
