The Peoples Democratic Party said it has uploaded over 70 per cent of its governorship and state Houses of Assembly candidates for the 2027 general elections.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Jungudo Mohammed, disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent on Saturday, saying the technical glitches earlier encountered by the party were promptly resolved by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
But the National Publicity Secretary of the Tanimu Turaki (SAN)-led faction, Ini Ememobong, said the bloc remained hopeful that the court would upturn the ongoing process being undertaken by the Abdulrahman Mohammed- and Samuel Anyanwu-led PDP.
Mohammed, who said the uploading process was progressing smoothly, assured that the party would not be distracted, as it was doing everything possible to ensure a successful outing in the 2027 elections.
