The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi, has revealed why he attended the launch of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, presidential campaign office in Abuja.
Obi disclosed this in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday.
He said his presence at the event was informed by the need to promote a new Nigeria anchored on unity, love, justice, mutual respect and inclusion, particularly at a time when political contests could become unnecessarily contentious and divisive.
According to the former Anambra State governor, Nigerian politicians must ensure that their shared love for the country remains greater than their political differences.
