The Young Progressives Party has inaugurated a new Lagos State secretariat in Ikeja and admitted new members as part of efforts to strengthen its structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, held on Opebi Road on Monday, attracted party leaders, stakeholders, grassroots mobilisers and members drawn from different parts of the state.
Speaking at the event, a member of the party’s Board of Trustees and presidential aspirant, Olajide Filani, said the YPP was positioning itself as a credible alternative committed to purposeful leadership, economic growth and inclusive governance.
He said the opening of the secretariat reflected the party’s determination to deepen its presence in Lagos and expand its grassroots support.
