The governor of Ondo State, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the re-appointment of Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government.
Taiwo, who is the son of the National Leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political association Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, earlier resigned his appointment to contest the senatorial primary in April this year, was reappointed after failing to secure the senatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress ahead the forthcoming general election.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Tuesday, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement read, “The Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the re-appointment of Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government.
”Dr Fasoranti was the SSG until March 30, 2026 when he resigned to contest in the Senate primaries of the All Progressives Congress for Ondo Central Senatorial District.
