Yellow Card CEO joins global stablecoin elite as Africa pushes for bigger role in digital finance

Chris Maurice, the chief executive officer and co-founder of Yellow Card, has been named among the world’s most influential leaders in the stablecoin industry, a recognition that highlights Africa’s growing role in shaping the future of global digital payments.

Maurice was included in the Stablecoins Most Influential 2026 list released by Stablecon, a leading global stablecoin conference and media platform that recognizes executives, innovators, policymakers and investors driving the adoption of stablecoins worldwide.
