Traditional rulers, alongside local government chairmen and residents of Oyo East and Oyo West Local Government Areas of Oyo State, on Tuesday commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his administration’s sustained investment in road infrastructure following an inspection of newly completed and ongoing road projects across the two councils.
The inspection tour was led by the Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Oluokun Olusola, alongside his counterpart from Oyo West, Akeem Olukitibi.
They were joined by several traditional rulers, including the Oloodu of Ojongbodu, Oba Olaniyi Adegboye; the Onisamu of Samu, Oba Lamidi Oyewale Afonja Mukaila; the Alajagba of Oyo, Oba Samuel Odurinde; the Ona-Isokun of Oyo; the Elepe of Iseke, Oba Olufemi Oyekan; the Onimileke of Imileke, Oyo, Oba Fakayode Alowonle; the Alaaguo of Aguoland, Oba David Oyediran; the Onigbudugbu of Gbudugbu, Oyo, Oba Salawu Oyeniran; and the Alapa-Ara of Apa-Ara, Oba Tijani Ajeigbe.
