As remote and hybrid work become permanent features of the modern workplace, cybersecurity experts have warned that unmanaged smartphones and tablets are emerging as one of the biggest security vulnerabilities facing organisations, exposing businesses to data breaches, ransomware attacks and unauthorised access to sensitive corporate information.
The warning came during a webinar hosted by KECAM Technologies in partnership with cybersecurity company Xcitium, where industry specialists urged organisations to extend enterprise-grade security controls to employee-owned mobile devices increasingly used to access corporate systems.
