Laolu Akande, former media aide to ex-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has expressed concern about the lack of detailed information from the police regarding the arrest of Secretary to the Osun State Government, Teslim Igbalaye.
Speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s ‘Sunrise Daily’, Akande said there is a suspicion about what happened, due to the inadequate briefing provided.
Recall that the Osun State Police Command on Wednesday arrested Igbalaye following an operation linked to an alleged vote-buying investigation in Osogbo.
Akande blamed the Nigeria police for not providing a robust account, noting that the SSG holds a significant office in the state.
“The police have not given us sufficient information about their activities in Osun state regarding those arrests, and because of that, there’s is a lot of suspicion about what is happening, and then they are now allowing the Accord Party spokesman to have a few days to call you out
