
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association on Tuesday released the final squad lists for the 2026 World Cup, confirming the full player selections for all 48 participating nations ahead of the tournament.
The tournament, which will be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, kicks off on June 11, 2026.
According to FIFA, a total of 1,248 players have been named, with 891 players making their World Cup debut, while 357 players are returning after previous appearances.
From Africa, ten countries have confirmed their final squads including Algeria, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia.
