The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has stirred fresh political debate after accusing President Bola Tinubu of manipulating the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary that produced him as the party’s candidate for the 2027 election.
In a video circulating on social media, the cleric criticized the outcome of the APC primary and questioned the credibility of the process that returned the president as the party’s flagbearer.
Speaking during a sermon, Suleman alleged that Tinubu’s victory reflected a pattern of electoral manipulation. He said: “Tinubu is very corrupt, he’s so used to rigging that he rigged his own unopposed primaries.”
The remarks have generated reactions across, with supporters and critics of the president engaging in heated arguments over the conduct of the APC exercise.
