
Leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Agege Constituency I, Lagos State, on Friday stormed the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja to demand a review of the outcome of the Lagos State House of Assembly primary election.
The protesters, made up of party chairmen and secretaries from the five wards in the local government area, rejected the published result of the May 20, 2026 primary election, alleging that it was manipulated in favour of an aspirant who did not win the contest.
Carrying placards with inscriptions such as “Let All Votes Count in APC Primaries,” “APC National Leadership, Hear the Voice of Agege 1,” and “Our Votes Must Count,” the group called for the immediate intervention of the party leadership.
