The Osun State APC Governorship Campaign Council has asked Governor Ademola Adeleke to explain how ₦14.9 billion in security votes under his administration has been spent, raising concerns about alleged misuse of Amotekun operatives.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Oluwole Oke, the council alleged that dozens of Osun Amotekun personnel were deployed to guard Pacific Energy Company in Omotosho Village, Ondo State, a private facility linked to Adeleke’s family while insecurity persists across Osun communities.
The APC also cited the death of an Amotekun officer, Abdullahi Adedeji, who reportedly sustained severe head injuries in a motorcycle accident while traveling to Ondo for duty in April 2026.

Oke argued that despite billions accessed in security votes, Adeleke’s government has not expanded security assets in the state.
