Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has arrived in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, with a delegation of political associates to support the African Democratic Congress governorship candidate, Dr Najeem Salaam, ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Atiku disclosed his arrival in a post on X on Monday, saying he was in the state to participate in the ADC’s grand finale campaign rally and rally support for Salaam.
He said, “I have arrived in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, alongside a delegation of political associates, to stand with our governorship candidate, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye), and our great party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), at the grand finale of our campaign ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.”
The former Vice President said the delegation was in Osun to make a final appeal to voters to support the ADC candidate.
