Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has disclosed why he always elevates God in his leadership of the state, saying he does this to achieve peace and economic prosperity, which can only be attained when human efforts are guided by divine intervention.
Oyebanji said his clear vision to make Ekiti a land of prosperity has been largely accomplished by upholding the tenets of honesty and transparency, with utmost respect for God’s guidance for his leadership neither to fail nor falter.
The governor stated this on Friday at the August edition of the Evening of Praise held at Jibowu Hall, Government House Grounds, Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
Addressing the congregants, Oyebanji, represented by his deputy, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, said his government started in 2022 with a clear vision to make the state a land of prosperity through the six-point agenda of his administration, praising God that he hasn’t disappointed in his leadership
