Peter Obi and Chief Dan Ulasi.
Elder statesman, Chief Dan Ulasi, has said Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) remains the only hope of the South-East ahead of the 2027 presidential election, alleging that the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government has done nothing for the region.
Ulasi made the assertion on AIT’s Kakaaki programme on Tuesday, arguing that Obi would secure overwhelming support across the South-East because of what he described as the region’s feeling of exclusion from the current administration.
According to him, Obi could secure at least 90 per cent of the votes in the region in 2027, as many voters believe the Federal Government has failed to address the South-East’s developmental concerns.
“In this election coming, Peter Obi will make not less than 90% of the votes in the Southeast for personal reasons. They believe they are not part of the system.
