Tinubu: My Government Inherits Problems to Solve, Not Abandon

President Bola Tinubu has declared that his administration is committed to tackling inherited challenges rather than abandoning them.

Speaking at the commissioning of the newly constructed Airport Expressway to Kuje road, part of events marking his third year in office.

Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, said the project was proof of his government’s resolve to complete abandoned infrastructure.

“Today we are not just commissioning a road but keeping a promise. Three years ago, we pledged to end the era of abandoned projects, and FCT Highway 105 stands as proof that we keep our word,” Tinubu stated.

He emphasized: “The present administration does not inherit problems to abandon them. We inherit challenges to solve them.”

Tinubu recalled that the road, awarded in 2022, had suffered delays and symbolized frustration for residents and businesses. 

He credited FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for bringing political will to overcome obstacles, pay compensations, and ensure completion.
