Real Madrid announced the signing of Marc Cucurella, the Spanish left-back, from Chelsea on Monday, for a fee reported to be €55 million.
In a club statement, Real Madrid said the 27-year-old signed a six-year contract that will see him play at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2032.
Cucurella joined Chelsea from Brighton in 2022 after coming through the academy of Barcelona, Madrid’s fierce rivals, and then moving to Getafe.
He is at the World Cup with Spain, becoming the only Real Madrid player in Luis de la Fuente’s squad.
