Foundation, tech firm partner to boost AI skills devt

A partnership between the Gbenga Fawehinmi Foundation and technology company Decision Spaak is set to expand access to artificial intelligence education for underserved communities, with a target of training 10 million Africans in AI and digital skills.

The collaboration, unveiled in Lagos on Monday, aims to equip students and young people with practical knowledge in artificial intelligence, analytics and innovation, while preparing them for opportunities in the evolving digital economy.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Decision Spaak, Philip Adekambi, said the initiative forms part of the company’s broader mission to democratise access to AI knowledge across Africa.

“We are on a mission to train 10 million Africans on AI,” Adekambi said, noting that the company delivers training through partnerships with educational technology platforms, universities, professional communities and corporate organisations.
