
Nigeria’s anyworkx is a multi-vertical digital platform that simplifies how people access services, commerce and everyday opportunities, having evolved towards the super app concept after starting life as a simple marketplace.
Founded in 2022 by X-agon Digital Solutions, the platform was originally developed as a digital marketplace that enables users to discover, engage and transact with verified service providers across more than 300 categories covering both blue-collar and white-collar services.
“Recognising changing consumer behaviour and the growing demand for convenience, anyworkx has evolved beyond services into a broader ecosystem that now includes online ordering of food, groceries, medications and products from local markets,” co-founder Ademola Adeyinka told Disrupt Africa.
Today, users can use the platform to discover and book trusted professionals, order meals and refreshments, purchase groceries and household essentials, access pharmacy services, shop digitally from selected local markets, and choose convenient delivery or pick-up options.
“Our long-term ambition is to build one of Africa’s defining digital infrastructure platforms for services and everyday commerce by integrating multiple aspects of daily life into one seamless experience,” said Adeyinka.
He said the startup had observed that everyday life across many African markets remained fragmented.
“Consumers often use one platform to find a service provider, another to order food, another to buy groceries, and yet another to access medications,” Adeyinka said.
