Former Kano State Governor and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has dismissed reports alleging that he accused the Kano State Government of mismanaging public funds through payments made to former councillors.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, Ganduje described the report as false, misleading and entirely unfounded.
According to the statement, the publication failed to provide any evidence that the alleged interview took place, including the date, venue, media organisation, journalist involved or any proof that Ganduje made the comments attributed to him.
The statement maintained that the former governor never made such remarks, insisting that the report was fabricated to distort his views and create unnecessary political tension.
