
A former Assistant Director of the Department of State Services, DSS, Dennis Amachree, has claimed that ex-Head of State, General Sani Abacha, rtd, died of cardiac arrest during sexual intercourse.
DAILY POST reports Abacha was Nigeria’s military ruler from November 1993 to June 1998, whose death has been shrouded in controversy and conspiracy theories.
According to The Nation, Amachree gave his version of Abacha’s final moments in his new book titled, ‘DSS @40: My journey behind the shield’.
Amachree, an Assistant Director of Operations and Intelligence at the Lagos DSS command at the time of Abacha’s death, said the late Nigerian leader died in the presence of a lady during an intimate affair, around 4:05 am, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He revealed that the lady took to her heels from the scene and jetted to Lagos with the next available flight.
The former senior DSS official pointed out that the lady and her older sister, who was Abacha’s girlfriend, had arrived at Aso Rock on the day of the incident.
According to him, Abacha’s girlfriend left her younger sister at the Villa with the late general.
“At approximately 2.40 am, shortly after Gen Useni left, Abacha’s girlfriend, an Igbo lady, arrived at the Aso Rock Guest House from the Nicon Nogs Hilton Hotel.
“With her was her younger sister, a pharmacist who was in Abuja for a conference. The Head of State had just bought his girlfriend a new SUV, and they decided to stop by to say
