The Kogi State Government has revealed that two of the National Examinations Council (NECO) candidates abducted during Tuesday’s attack on Government Secondary School, Olowa, in Dekina Local Government Area, sat for their examinations at an unauthorised “miracle centre.”
The government stated that it has launched a major multi-agency security operation, personally ordered by Governor Usman Ododo, to rescue the four remaining victims still in captivity. The operation is being coordinated by the State Security Adviser, retired Commander Jerry Omodara, involving the Nigerian Army, Police, Department of State Services, Kogi State Vigilante Service, local hunters, and other security networks. Advanced technology is also being deployed, with reports indicating encouraging progress.
