Senior Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Jamiu Ogundele, has called for intensified grassroots mobilisation in support of the ruling All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ogundele, popularly known as Jamsalod, inaugurated 396 grassroots polling unit mobilisers across Imeko-Afon Local Government Area, urging them to work towards securing victory for the APC in the 2027 polls.
According to a statement he issued on Tuesday, the mobilisation team comprises three members from each of the 132 polling units spread across the 10 political wards in the local government.
The team is mandated to coordinate grassroots engagement and expand support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, Senator Solomon Adeola’s governorship aspiration and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
The statement noted that the inauguration attracted party faithful, community leaders, youth groups, women’s associations and supporters from different parts of the local government.
