The Head of Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, on Wednesday disclosed that some staff of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, PFIPC, had visited her officials, claiming to be from a new agency of government.
Walson-Jack alleged that the PFIPC staff, led by their purported Director General, Adeyemi Adeniyi, demanded an appointment letter for their Chief Executive Officer, in line with the service Establishment Act.
Making the revelations while appearing before the House of Representatives committee investigating the fake DG, following his fraudulent allegations against President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Walson-Jack noted that criminals are always trying to be one step ahead.
According to Walson-Jack: “I have come to defend the budget and I will just go straight to the matter at hand, which is regarding the interaction of my office with the Presidential Economic Advisory Council/Presidential Financial Intervention Promotion Council.
