Kingsley Amafibe, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Africa Real Estate Awards, has unveiled the Africa Real Estate Awards, a new continental platform aimed at recognising excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions to the growth and transformation of Africa’s real estate sector.
The unveiling ceremony, held in Lagos, brought together leading stakeholders from across the property industry, including developers, investors, architects, policymakers, construction professionals and other key players committed to advancing Africa’s built environment.
Speaking at the launch, Amafibe said the initiative was established to celebrate individuals, organisations and institutions that are redefining the real estate landscape through innovation, integrity, sustainability and transformative investments.
He explained that beyond recognising outstanding achievements, the awards would serve as a platform to promote collaboration among industry stakeholders, attract local and foreign investment, encourage the adoption of global best practices and strengthen Africa’s rapidly expanding property market.
