Ibikunle Amosun, former governor of Ogun state, has endorsed Solomon Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, ahead of the 2027 elections in the state.
Amosun announced his support after hosting Adeola and other APC leaders at his residence in Ibara GRA, Abeokuta.
The former governor said the visit marked the end of divisions within the party following its primary election.
“With this visit, we are now one united family. Virtually all the leaders that came with you are my people. The senator is our party’s candidate and all must support him to win the general election,” Amosun said.
He added that the party should move beyond the contest that produced its candidate and focus on winning the governorship election.
