The Anambra State Government has invited potential investors to engage in discussions ahead of the launch of the state’s Mixed-Use Industrial City, with emphasis on key enablers such as access roads, electricity, water supply and security.
According to a statement released on Tuesday, the state Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, said the decision was among several significant resolutions reached at the Anambra State Executive Council meeting held at the “Light House”, Awka, on Monday.
Mefor said the council also reflected on Independence Day, discussing its history and strategic importance to the nation, while calling on residents to prepare for this year’s celebration.
He added that the council resolved to streamline the state’s law enforcement groups to eliminate overlaps in functions and their proliferation.
According to him, the move would enhance their functionality, reduce conflicts and improve accountability to citizens.
