Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed speculation that she has reconciled with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Annie clarified that videos circulating online suggesting a reunion were old clips being misrepresented.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.The rumours began on Friday, July 17, after footage resurfaced showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub.
The clip quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation of a rekindled relationship.Annie’s statement, however, appears to have put the matter to rest, stressing that the footage was not recent.
The actress and 2Baba, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together.
Since then, 2Baba has remarried Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
