The founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has cautioned the National Assembly against enacting a proposed law prohibiting Christians from preaching in buses and taxis.
Ibiyeomie warned that such law could cause chaos and Christians will be forced to resist.
Addressing his members in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the clergyman wondered why authorities allowed Muslims to use their microphones and loudspeakers during prayers but want to prohibit Christians from preaching in public places.
He said: “We want peace, allow Christians alone, as you allow Muslims also allow Christians. Are you aware that they said we should not preach in buses? That’s a stupid law and I will not be alive to see Christ being humiliated.
“Nigeria has gotten so stupid, the so-called men in the National Assembly I don’t know where they kept their brain, we should not preach in buses but they put loud speakers outside, nobody is
