Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, known by his stage name Davido, had in a viral post on Thursday mocked the APC chieftain, claiming that he scored 16 votes in his primary election.
Clearing the air, Bashir in a post on his official X handle on Friday, said no credible primary election was held, stating that there was evidence of how the process was rigged.
According to him, if the process was credible, he would have won the election, urging Davido and his supporters to refrain from spreading the claim.
