The candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement for the Ondo Central Senatorial District of Ondo State, Sunday Falae, has declared that the party will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress in the district in the 2027 general election.
Falae said the senatorial district deserved better representation at the National Assembly, accusing the APC of failing to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents, particularly those in Akure, the state capital.
He stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Akure on Sunday.
According to him, the APC’s claim that it had no opposition in Ondo State was merely a strategy to intimidate other political parties and their supporters.
